About the Vietnamese - Good and Bad Habits
Let’s talk about the vietnamese and what they do good and wrong, because most of the time i say this is a great country wow great stuffs happens but what about the dark side of the force in Vietnam?
Real Fact #1:
2 Years ago, when i was working for an I.T. company in Saigon, i was like a technical manager or a trainee or i still don’t know what i was actually but that’s another story.
So 2 years ago, my boss tells me to go with a vietnamese technician to a company that is a bit far from where we work. So we go there, it was about 40 km far from the center of hcmc, so we go in the company that have a huge factory probably a 100 meters long and very large. The boss of that company is a friend of mine, he is french so we talked a bit with each other to know whatssup.
So we were chatting, and in his office there is a huge window where you can see all the factory. And here comes the technician! It’s here that’s funny:
The technician did so: He put his toolbox 50 meters away from the printer that had a problem and that he was supposed to repair. And well it’s kind of unusual to put it that far lol. So the technician (his name was Dung), takes a tool. He goes to the printer. Then he needs another tool and goes back to the toolbox that’s 50 meters away. Then he goes back to the printer with another tool. And goes back to the toolbox. And again and again and again.
Yeah. He did that for like 2 hours. With my friend we couldn’t say a thing, but i swear there’s all kind of things in this country that happens all the time and i don’t even pay attention to that kind of things anymore as it makes you more nervous than happy.
Other Facts #2
When you see how they made those electricity wires, there’s a lot of questions that goes in your head right?
Questions! How does trucks or high cars can drive under those stuffs? How do they know which cable is linking to which house? How do they repair the stuff? Do they repair the stuff? How they will be able to change the “layout” of their electricity wires in the future? Is there electricity problems in Vietnam?
Well! A lot of questions. One question that i can answer is yes theres a lot of electricity problems in Vietnam, that’s why most companies that uses computers have UPS for each computers in case the power is out.
Another question that i can answer is: When trucks passes beneath some of those cables, and in some streets the cables are very low. Theres vietnamese dudes that goes on the top of the truck with sweepers and they try to put the cables up or away so the truck can move in the street. This is no joke!
Well…..
Indeed Vietnam is an awesome place, there is nothing to say about all the stuff above. Vietnamese people have been oppressed for many years by their government, and we would be like them if we born in Vietnam and that’s a fact! There’s no trick!
The vietnamese governments doesn’t care about the evolution of their people nor their city, they just care about the evolution of their profit or economy. Cause they make huge profits. The average wage for a vietnamese is about 60$ so imagine the kind of profit they can make. Of course for 60$ you don’t get the super worker but it’s still a worker that you can do stuffs with.

Your writing is interesting, and I have finished your story or experience. I like your conclusion. However, one thing I like to say is that you do not have enough knowledge about this county & people to say what you said. I hope that readers like me will not take it serious about what you are saying here. Your writing is only about 1 degree angle.

every country have their bad habits. you might encountered some bad experience but it doesnt mean that all the people who come from vietnam are like that. just beg for money like u said so. I live in canada, one of the wealthiest nation in the globe and there are beggers here too. Some people here in canada are rude and mean too. As well as us, europe , and other caucasian countries. So leave vietnam alone. right now, the coutry is poor but you know what, the vietnamese people are smart and they will become rich and the best country to live in the world. So dont be dissing .
