Typical Pagoda in Northern Vietnam
Tuesday, May 15th, 2007Cool Pagoda
Sorry for the poor quality of the pictures, i had a samsung digimax 3.2 mega pixels that always made blur pictures. So the pictures you actually see now were taken and were good shots, kind of rare.
I took those pictures like 3 years ago when i had a trip in north Vietnam.
The north of Vietnam has 4 seasons like in France and many countries in Europe, it’s not as hot as in the southern Vietnam. There’s almost no humidity in the north except to places like Sapa and in the mountains. People are a bit different than the south, they are usually more educated (which is true).
They also talk the viet language more acute in the north. As an analogy imagine the southern vietnamese talking like country side people, and the northern vietnamese are the sophisticated ones, yet they aren’t the smartest ones.
I don’t really like pagodas, i don’t have much pictures of them.
Building Painters - Crazy Ladder
Tuesday, May 15th, 2007

There’s that new building near my home, and lol there is a painter that uses the ladder above to paint the southern wall of the building without rope or any security. When there is wind the ladder usually twitch a lot (the twitcher), would you love that job? lol

Monday, May 14th, 2007It happened just when i woke up. I know there’s something wrong with the door who gets you to the balconey, and if the rain falls and the wind goes in that door’s direction, it floods inside of my room and it floods really a lot in just a few seconds.
There’s no plumbers in Vietnam. That degree doesn’t exists, everyone is a plumber including myself! So you take all the sheets you can and you sponge the floor in the morning of an ugly rainy day, your feet are wet when walking on the floor, you gotta run downstair to take the sheets and stuff.. you fell down cause your feet were wet etc..etc.. We all love those stuffs.

Tuesday, May 8th, 2007Some Informations about Sapa
Tuesday, May 8th, 2007Sapa the beautiful north of vietnam in its splendor
Sapa is at the frontier of southern china and there lived many local tribes such as H’mong, Dao and Tay. Vietnam has many different tribes and the H’mong are one of them.
You can find many different pictures of Sapa here. Sapa is at 1600 meters of altitude, the climate is moderate and rainy in summer and often very cold in winter with some snowfall.
It is a very attractive place because of it’s rice field in terrace (rice fields with stairs like shape).
