How do you see vietnam in 2008?

Funny but i don’t see nothing new in Vietnam for 2008. I heard they will destroy the restaurant “La Fourchette” in Saigon to make buildings. But besides that Vietnam will remain the same!

Hard to Live Here

How do you think it’s like to live here? You ever lived here? If not then i will tell you my experience. Living in Vietnam is way harder than living in Europe, USA or Canada. First of all, here if you’re a foreigner that means for those poor people that you got money, that’s a fact.

I didn’t travel much, but i would bet my heart that it’s the same everywhere int he world in any of those third world countries that tries to copy the western civilization…

Vietnamese people will never gain more respect if they don’t give respect to people that visit them first, they will try everything to get 1000 Dong (less than 10 cents $)! They will lose customers for just a few bucks! They don’t think about the future, that’s why nowadays so many vietnamese restaurants are empty, and there’s no more tourists like it used to be in 2004…

It happened just when i woke up. I know there’s something wrong with the door who gets you to the balconey, and if the rain falls and the wind goes in that door’s direction, it floods inside of my room and it floods really a lot in just a few seconds.

There’s no plumbers in Vietnam. That degree doesn’t exists, everyone is a plumber including myself! So you take all the sheets you can and you sponge the floor in the morning of an ugly rainy day, your feet are wet when walking on the floor, you gotta run downstair to take the sheets and stuff.. you fell down cause your feet were wet etc..etc.. We all love those stuffs.

There’s a lot to say about Vietnam, about the war of Vietnam, about how the people here do stuffs with each other and i’m used to have those informations instantly. When i first came in Vietnam i would say a lot of stuffs! But now i am used to live here it’s pretty hard to describe it!

I’d like to introduce the Vietnam War later to explain what the heck happened during that war. Most of the people knows Vietnam because of this war! And that’s a shame! Vietnam deserve much more than being cursed because of a stupid war.

One thing for sure is that the Roosevelt administration got a hold on Adolf Hitler when they wanted to, and Adolf Hitler got huge fleets, huge armies and airplanes etc etc… But yet the Americans got Hitler down.

So you tell me! How come the USA lost the war of Vietnam? If they lost the war in Vietnam it is because it was planned that way! Roosevelt said one thing that is interesting:

When something happens in politic whether it is bad or good, make sure that it was planned that way

So this is my first post, i just want to say that i’m glad i finally did that blog, i have so many stuffs to bring up here. My experience with the vietnamese people that i find remarkable in many ways. My opinion on asia in general, i want to point out the shock of civilization between Europe-Usa and Asia.

My first impression of Vietnam

Vietnam is one of the most dynamic country in the world, its economy is growing and growing since the end of the embargo with the United States back in 1991. So it is i think one of the most impressive experience but to witness the evolution of one of the countries that will lead the future of mankind, believe me about that.

I believe Vietnam is on the “good way”. That if the system we live in still lives on, Vietnam is going to reach the top of the ladder quite fast.

The country is beautiful, you will see that yourself with the pictures. The women and men of Vietnam are unique!! It’s a very cool country.
